Mercury asks us to embrace change, to communicate with all the authenticity and clarity we can muster. It's a day that asks us to embrace our creativity. Wednesdays are about transitions and shifting from the start of the week to the closing of it—it's the exact center of our week.
How can I incorporate Mercury's energy into my Wednesdays?
Wednesdays are a good day for accepting and embracing change. More than that, it's a day that revolves around communication and creativity. Wednesdays ask us to voice our ideas, our concerns, our passions. On Wednesdays, you'll want to wear the colors purple and orange ot bring in Mercury's energy and help you move with ease as you interact with the people around you.On Wednesdays, you'll want to focus on speaking your truth and thinking about all you are saying. It's the very center of the week so you can expect changes to occur often on this day.These are a few plants you can use in your cooking, beverages, or certain spellworkings to aid in easing transitions and speaking your truth:1. Lavender: It's calming, relaxing, and helps you accept change.2. Lily of the valley: Brings cheer and helps the mind and memory.3. Rosemary: For it's ability to help bring clarity.4. Dill: Attracts luck and protects the user.5. Cedar: Brings luck and guides the user towards good fortunes.6. Fern: Attracts money and protectionI like to try to make a dill and cucumber salad on Wednesdays since Dill is known for helping to guide the user as they move through the world. It will help the user move towards the future they most desire.
Mundane Ways to Work with Mercury on Wednesdays
Wednesdays are the perfect day to tackle your email inbox or return all those calls you've been meaning to make. Every Wednesday, I do my best to schedule my social media for my other small business (Chillona Designs). Wednesdays I'm best able to think about each post, consider what I'd like to share about my products, and connect with my clients.For those who are creative, Wednesdays are a day when your mind is moving towards the future and thus is a good day to work on a creative project. Mercury also brings in inspiration and can help you work through an issue you may be having with your project.For student brujitxs, Wednesdays are a great day to tackle major studying. It's a day when your mind is the focus versus body, heart, or spirit and thus can be a good day for dedicating to learning new things.If you have errands you must run (though I know most are doing their best to self-isolate) Wednesdays are a good day to do this. Travel seems to flow more easily (though do be wary if it's a full moon).
