Aries Season Tarotscopes

The Sun entered the sign of Aries on 3/20 at about 2:45am PST and will remain there until 4/19 at about 1:45pm PST.

Aries rules over the first house traditionally. This is the house of the self, of exerting one’s presence into the world and putting things into motion and being. The motto of this house is “I am” and Aries, much like Leo at times, is about the experience of self in the world. Traditionally ruled by Mars, this is a planet driven by creation and action.

Aries season is such a powerful one. In the Northern Hemisphere, it kicks off the start of spring and often is associated with seeds beginning to sprout, flower buds blooming, and life awakening after winter. It’s a transformative time for sure and one that often comes with a desire to move, to act, to exist and experience. Aries wants to set things in motion. Look to see which house Aries rules in your chart to see where you may feel this drive most.

To help cut back on some of my workload, I’ve moved the lunar notes of my tarotscopes over to my patreon! the first tier is $4.44 and gets you a good deal of info, transits, random spells, two baño recipes a month, and more!

Aries and Aries rising - The Hierophant Rx

The Hierophant card is asking you, Aries, to break out of your rut by breaking traditions. In what ways are you allowing yourself to embrace nonconformity? In what ways are you working with and holding Uranus energy in your life? The Hierophant in reversed is asking to be flipped right side up by inviting you to create your own way of living. March to the beat of your own drum, as folks often say. Though folks often consider reversed cards to be negative, in this case, I feel like this card is actually a fabulous one to get during your season. With this card here, I think it’s also hinting at the idea that you might not be stepping fully into your way of being. There’s a part of your identity that you’re not allowing to come through in the spaces and ways that you’d like for it to come through. I like to remind people in my Dark Goddess course and in sessions, that you don’t HAVE to share all parts of yourself with the entire world. It’s all about sharing the parts of yourself that you WANT to share with the folks you want to share those parts with. If someone is making you feel like you can’t be yourself, and you’re afraid of what would happen if you did exist how you wanted to, then that’s a problem. So, this season, look at the Hierophant in reverse as an invitation to go inward and look at which aspects of your life you want to embody more and where you most wish to share these facets.

Taurus - Temperance Rx

Taurus, this season highlights all of the behind-the-scenes aspects of your life. With Temperance in reverse here, this card is asking you to pay attention to how you nourish yourself. Are your practices nourishing you or are they created to replicate something you’ve seen online? It’s important to learn with and from others, bt it’s also important to learn to discern for yourself what is most important in your practice. With this card being in reverse, you’re being asked to take the season to act, to make changes in all the ways you need to. For some of you, this is less about spirit and more about creating. What do you want to put out into the world? What ideas have you been sitting on? Now is the time to take steps to bring them to life. Don’t necessarily share or make vocal these ideas, instead, just start to work quietly in your own ways. Make changes to how you take action first. Once you feel a bit more grounded, and perhaps once we shift into Gemini season, then you can begin sharing more of what you put in motion (if it feels right for your chart).

Gemini (May 22 - June 21) - Ace of Pentacles Rx

Gemini, it seems some of you are feeling unsupported, which is totally understandable on a national scale (for those of us in the US) but I’m getting that this is more about the people around you. Maybe there aren’t enough folks around you to support you in what you want to grow. Maye the folks you do have around you expect too much from you and don’t give you time to tend to yourself or maybe the folks around you aren’t supportive of what you want in life. Either way, you’re unable to dream as big and as loud as you’d like to and it’s putting a bit of a damper on all you’re trying to grow. If you don’t already have an established relationship with your spirit team, now is the time to begin connecting with them. Even when folks around you fall away, your spirit team helps you recognize and believe in the future you desire. They help you see all that you have a right to claim in this world and they’re not afraid to show you the steps it will take to get there. This season, find other ways to create support for yourself. Aside from your spirit team, maybe it’s time to find a supportive community group to join (for those who work with spirits you can join my free Nourishing the Bridge Group). Either way, this card is signaling that you seek support, and it’s gently suggesting that you are the one who needs to take action to find that support.

Cancer (June 22 - July 22) - Two of Pentacles rx

Hmm, Cancer, you’re playing a tricky game of balance as it relates to your public life and your career. This card is saying that something is out of whack. Maybe it’s your actual work schedule. You could be overdoing it. For others, it might be that your attention is being pulled in one too many directions. Sometimes this card also pops up when we’re giving too much of ourselves to work-life and not enough time to rest. Take this season as an invitation and a reminder to prioritize what you truly need and what you truly want. As the book Essentialism states, we can do ANYTHING we want to do, but we can’t do EVERYTHING. When we try to do everything, all that happens is something gets done half-ass or we disappoint someone (ourselves included). Because Aries season is your 10th house and because the ruler is currently in your 12th house, this season is very much about fixing things behind the scenes. You may be planning out new projects but I think more than anything, that this card is asking you to create the balance you seek between your personal and work life. I totally get that this may not be fully possible in the way you desire if you’re navigating multiple jobs and/or caregiving, for example, so do what you can to work towards balance. If you can’t create the life you need and want right now, take one small step towards that.

Leo (July 23 - August 21) - The empress

Leo, The Empress is bringing a lil bit of a reward and some rejuvenation in how you expand your mind. Some of you may be traveling (safely and locally more than anything but this could also be travel of the mind). If you’re vaccinated and feel safe, now might be a good time to tend to yourself in the ways you haven’t been able to. Getting out and getting a new outfit (even if it’s loungewear), getting that trim you’ve been meaning to get, or getting your nails done may be helpful in lifting your spirits. If you don’t wish to tend to your body, allow Venus to push you to splurge on the book you’ve been eyeing or the art supplies you’ve been thinking about. The Empress is asking you to tend to treat yourself so that you can grow and expand in all the ways you wish to. This card is also indicating that it may be time to learn more about the ways that you can embody sensuality, receptivity, and creativity. This card has hella Venus energy and with Aries season highlighting themes of learning, wisdom, philosophy, and travel, this is the ideal time to see all the ways you can abundantly grow your mind.

Virgo (August 22 - September 23) - Justice Rx

Virgo, Aries season is a bit about feeling the effects of your actions in the last year. The Justice card in reverse is asking you to acknowledge and consider all of the things you’ve been denying: both positive and negative. What have you ignored in your life that you needed to tend to? With Justice in reverse, this is also about facing truths you don’t want to face or stopping a transformation from occurring. If you’ve been too lax with your spending in a way that is causing guilt and damage in your life, this is a sure sign that you need to get that under control asap. Aries is highlighting how you work with resources connected to other folks and with the Justice card here, it could very much be about debt or money matters. I think many of you could benefit from an obstacle-clearing and/or road opening working. Join my Patreon for access to old baño recipes and spells! Aside from just money matters, however, ow is a time to be mindful of the actions you take. Choose your words with intention and precision, and choose your fights with wisdom. Who and what should you be battling against? Everyone gets hyped up during Aries season so be mindful of when you are reacting versus acting with intention.

Libra (September 24 - October 23) - Ten of pentacles

Libra, you are going to be feeling connected and loved in many ways. You’re relationships, and how you connect with others, is going to be fulfilling and have some ease. This is a good season to spend time with loved ones and to talk about your hopes and dreams with the people you want to build a long-term relationship with. The ten of Pentacles is telling you that you will feel the fruits of your labor in these areas of your life. For those of you who have been doing shadow work, learning to communicate in a nonviolent and mindful way, or who have had the privilege of going to therapy, you’ll likely be feeling like these new ways of communicating happen with ease. Use this season as a time to connect with people in more meaningful ways. Whether that is virtually or in person. If you have had some relationships you’ve wanted to mend, this is the season to do so. Don’t allow terrible people back into your life, but do allow room for growth and healing if you’re ready for it.

Scorpio (October 24 - November 22) - princess of wands

Scorpio, this season, you’re going to feel energized and rejuvenated. If you’ve felt the pull to deepen your spiritual practice, this is a good season to focus on crafting a practice that you work on daily in some capacity. What kind of morning routine would you ideally like to have and how can you work towards that in a small way? What study path have you wanted to focus on but haven’t gotten around to doing so? Now is the time to check ou those library books, sign up for that Patreon you’ve browsed a few times, or take that class with the practitioner you’ve been following for a while. The princess of wands is encouraging you to move forward with intention and to step up how you act within your spiritual path. It’s a card of quick and driven energy. It’s a card of inspiration. Be mindful of the fact that, because it’s Aries season, you may be pulled in a thousand and one directions. It’s okay to let inspiration pull you, but don’t dive too deep into everything you want to do. Instead, take notes about your ideas, try out classes in a few different subjects before committing to one long mentorship, read a few different books. Allow yourself to have a playful energy in this way.

Sagittarius (November 23 - December 21) - Queen of pentacles

Sagittarius, you’ll be vibing for SURE this season. Queen of Pentacles is showing that you’ve got a grasp on your responsibilities and the grounded aspects of your life, so this season, allow yourself the opportunity to step into the mode of fun and allow yourself to express your creativity. The Queen of Pentacles is saying that now is the time to reap your rewards and to allow yourself an opportunity to look at the land that you’ve tended to. Instead of thinking too much about long-term goals, Aries season is highlighting your fun side and your creative side. How do you let loose? How do you express your ideals for the world? This season is a good time to start a new creative practice if you’ve been meaning to. Take a creative writing course. Try out a month of Skillshare and try your hand at sketching or watercolor. Attend an herbalism course. Embody the energy of the Queen and trust that you’ve done what you need to do, and now you can focus on what you WANT to do.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 20) the star rx

Capricorn, where have you let go of hope and idealism. Where do you feel like your fated to your life or that you simply cannot have what you desire? The star in reverse is reminding you not to cut off a future you desire because you’re afraid it’s out of reach. Aries season is whispering that maybe it’s time to do some shadow work and perhaps some ancestral healing. Oftentimes, the things we struggle with aren’t only healed through shadow work but through ancestral healing. If you’re not taking the time to tend to your spirits and to look at family patterns, you’re bound to repeat many of them or carry the energetic imprint of their patterns. Keep in mind, that sometimes shadow work looks way different for us than it does for others. For example, I have a strong tendency to overwork myself. So sometimes, shadow work, and ancestral healing for me, can be about healing via rest and allowing myself time to nap and heal. Think about what your family line has struggled with and work on healing those aspects of yourself. For some White folks, this might be about also addressing racism within your family line.

Aquarius (January 21 - February 19) - death

Aquarius, Aries season is putting a bit of focus on your methods of communication and your local network. There are some relationships both in work and in your personal life, that need to be clipped or at the very least, need to have some hella strong boundaries added to. The death card is here to signify that with endings, with closing and clearing, comes more access to what you’re meant to have in your life and the energy you’re meant to embody. When we keep certain friendships or connections in place because we’re afraid of what it might mean to have no connections, we end up taking up energetic space in our lives. In this way, we close ourselves off from accessing more of what we want. The death card in this deck is embodied by Scorpio, and with it being Aries season (and both being ruled by Mars) then this is very much a sign to step into the warrior aspect of yourself, step into transformation, and embody more of the energy you wish to act from. If you’re having trouble setting boundaries, consider it an acting exercise and ask yourself, “How might someone with great communication skills set this boundary? How might a badass set this boundary? How might someone who values their energetic space, end this connection?” And act from this mindset.

Pisces (February 20 - March 20) - the emperor

Pisces, this season may bring a lift to your finances. The Emporer is here, during Aries season, which is kind of a good ass sign for your finances. If you’ve been needing a bit of splurging money, it might come through. This is also a good time to consider your relationship to money. How do you share it as a resource? How do you obtain it? Is your relationship to energetic exchange feeling well and balanced? If not, how can you shift it? Is it time to think more about how you save money for unexpected expenses? Money is a matter that may be heavy on your mind this season but not in a stressful way. Most of you might just be feeling the pull to look at your spending habits and maybe make some positive adjustments for your long-term wellness and for your overall good. If you haven’t already considered all the ways you provide community care as well, this is a good time to do so. I was raised religiously, and honestly, I had terrible experiences, but as a whole, I remember thinking how fabulous the idea of tidings was. Now, instead of giving to a church that doesn’t really support me or my community, I try to recreate that idea in my own life by giving back to my community. Maybe it’s time for you to think of doing something similar if you’re able to.
